Mara Blue

Named after the Scots Gaelic word meaning ‘of the sea’, the Mara pairs technical ability with graphic clarity, offering the playful, recognisable Paulin aesthetic to depths of up to 300 metres. Protected by a double-domed sapphire crystal with three layers of anti-reflective coating, the lacquer painted dial features Paulin’s bespoke ‘Wim’ typeface, paired with a clean minute track and bold geometric hour markers. Framing the dial is a domed sapphire bezel, with Swiss Super-LumiNova printed on its underside for durability and legibility.

The case features an overhanging, 120-click uni-directional bezel, screw-down crown, and closed caseback. With a diameter of 39.7mm and thickness of 13.5mm, the Mara has a sizable presence on the wrist but remains a versatile size for most wearers. Powering the watch is the Swiss-made La Joux-Perret G101.

Each watch is accompanied by two 20mm straps: a custom branded injection-moulded rubber strap, and a fabric strap made from recycled fishing nets lined with Italian Alcantara faux suede for comfort.
