John Nicol Clock Collection
£330.00The John Nicol Clock Collection is a collaboration between Paulin and the artist, John Nicol. Each dial was individually hand-painted in John’s studio in Glasgow.
The collection builds on John’s slow-evolving painting practice. The work is full of contradictions: the discord between the impulse to create something aesthetic and the impulse to destroy it, and the search for a balance of form and colour between the two.
Each of the five clocks is a one-off and has been signed by the artist.
The clock is made from cork and aluminium with a sweeping second hand.
Orders outside the UK will be subject to customs and taxes according to the destination country.
