David Lemm Clock Collection
£275.00The David Lemm Clock Collection is a collaboration between Paulin and the artist, David Lemm. Each dial has been individually designed and screen printed in Edinburgh.
David’s practice is informed by encounters with place, process and artefact. For his clock collection, David began with the drawn outline of a piece of tram track, which he then split into graphic linear motifs. Playing with traditional hour markers, each dial uses 12 of these deconstructed elements in unique combinations. The work references the notion of non-linear time, and specifically how time behaves differently when engaged in the creative process.
Each of the five clocks is a one-off and has been signed by the artist.
The clock is made from cork and aluminium with a sweeping second hand.
